Getting Started with Your Account

Welcome to the nestclo! To begin using the application and access all its features, you’ll need to complete a one-time Account Setup.

This setup is required prior to performing any transactions and will appear at login until completed.

This guide walks you through the three-step setup process and explains the purpose of each field.

Account Setup Overview

You’ll be prompted with a series of modal dialogs when you log in for the first time. These help configure your account properly for tax, compliance, and operational reporting.

Step 1: Account Type

Choose the structure that best represents your usage:

  • Business: For LLCs, Limited Companies, Partnerships, or Non-Profit entities.
  • Individual: For sole traders or independent individuals.

Step 2: Business Information

Fill in your organization’s details. These help with tax reporting, financial planning, and compliance.

Business or Trading NameThe official or trading name of your business.
Registration NoThe company’s registration number (optional but recommended).
Tax NumberYour VAT or other tax ID number (if applicable).
Financial Year – Start DateThe date your business’s financial year begins.
Week Start DayThe day your business’s weekly reporting starts (e.g. Monday).
Type of BusinessChoose your business category from the dropdown (e.g. Construction).

Step 3: Contact Information

Provide your personal or company representative contact details. These are essential for official correspondence and billing.

First Name / Last NameName of the business owner or contact person.
Street Address (1 & 2)Your primary and secondary street address lines.
City / Province or CountyYour city and regional location.
Postal CodeZIP or postal code of the address provided.
CountrySelect from the dropdown. Currently supports United Kingdom.

Completion

After filling all details, click Finish to complete your account setup. You will no longer be prompted at login, and you can begin using all features of the platform.
